This is only the second book that I've read by this author. The other book had a more developed plot and not as much erotic sex. I think this book has a really good plot but everything was overwhelmed by the erotic sex. I'm all for steamy sex that adds to a story, but this was borderline pornographic. The plot and excellent storytelling by the author saved it from being pure porn. I don't mind sex between two lovers. Saint's explanation of sex for the attendees at the conferences was too explicit and detailed for me and didn't add much to the book. There was quite a bit of backstory for Saint which was fascinating. However, there was very little about Xenia. That would have added to the story. I still would like to know more about Xenia's history. Less time given to the overly descriptive sex and more given to Xenia's backstory would have made for a more enjoyable read. I'd love to read more of their story but not if it contains as much graphic sex. Yes, I know Ms. Laveen writes erotic romances and the book carried a warning, still this was over the top especially when compared to her other book that I read, A Fight Within. I look forward to reading more books by Ms. Laveen but will pay more attention to reviews. Hopefully, they will be more like A Fight Within. For those who are not put off by very erotic sex, this would be a good book for you.Product details

Saint is not your typical public speaker he's drop your panties let's have bucked naked steamy wild sex kind of guy who takes no mess from anyone (my kind of man) . What he 's selling not too many are willing to buy BLACK WOMEN DATING OUTSIDE THEIR RACE. Saint's genetic makeup of Asian and Middle Eastern descent and his outwardly speech about love for the black woman rubs some the wrong way especially radio talk host Xenia Donnellson their first meeting was explosive they didn't agree on anything but one thing for certain Xenia knew the tall sexy doctor had a way with words and a major dose of mass sex appeal and with Xenia Saint knew he found his one. But being as abrasive as Saint he drew quite a few enemies and with help of his friend Raphael you learn that Saint doesn't have a vendetta against black men. This was a good read Xenia 's mother Pam is hilarious the way she cursed Saint had me in stitches but of course adorable Saint gave as well as he took. I love his tenacity and resilience of knowing you should not confine love done to any particular race or color, definitely a must read.
Its been a while since I've come across a novel that has not only made me laugh out loud but get so incredibly turned on to the point I'm embarrassed to read it in public. This is the first novel I've read from Ms. Laveen and I have to say I'm extremely impressed. She tackled the complex relationships between Black men and Black women all the while creating a biracial, sex therapist, public speaker hero (Saint Aknaten) that makes you wanna slap your mama! He is DELICIOUS! I loved the portrayal of a healthy interracial union and the candidness in how these unions can be perceived by outsiders. Xenia was the yin to Saint's yang and the both of them were fierce together. I've already recommended this book to others and you can believe I will continue to do so (right after I start book 2). This was an excellent introduction to the Saint series. Phenomenal job Ms. Laveen! You've acquired a new fan. Bravo!
This book started out so good to me and I couldn't put it down, however the moment Xenia went on her "date" with Saint the book took a nose dive. Xenia was not a strong character like the book (from Saint's POV) described. She did handle Saint on their first argument but after their "date" she got on my nerves crying all the time. The conventions were a bit annoying and long winded. So then Saint's secret came out and the book took me up high again.
Then Xenia was secretly planing to get pregnant and was crying AGAIN after getting caught and the book dropped me down again. Overall the book was ok I liked the paranormal aspect in it, but I'm not interested in the rest of the series and I don't believe the book was worth the $6.99 price. In my overall opinion the book wasn't bad but the mismatch of strength in characters Saint and Xenia put me off the book.
This book was really interesting to read. The topic matter was very different. Saint is a very complicated character. The loss of his mother was the pivotal turn in his life. He had these abilities that he refused to accept until his queen was almost killed and his best friend, Raphael forced him to realize and accept what he had been seeing in him since childhood. With his unique ethnic background of Korean and Egyptian, all Saint wanted to be was normal. Raphael helped him to understand that he can be normal but he just has specialized skills that he needed to learn about and understand.
His desire for a black queen and to help other non black men to find theirs was his life's mission. When he met Xenia, he knew instantly that she was his queen and sought to make her his.
Tiana had to do a lot of research to write a fictitious story on the subject matter of inter racial relationships of non black men with black women. She did a wonderful job.
The Naughty Sins of a Saint is a very good and exciting sensual interracial romantic comedy that earned a rating of five stars. I enjoyed reading this book about Saint Aknaten and his supernatural powers as he search for his soul
mate . When he finds Xenia, making her his was not easy. The book is very entertaining and I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading very exciting romantic comedies.
